Awesome run with stops for photos of the monuments and memorials. Perfect weather, if not a bit warm. Feet a little sore from all the walking in sandals yesterday, but felt fine after first mile. Ran past the White House, around the Washington Monument, past the WWII Memorial and down to the Lincoln Memorial, stopping a few times to take pictures.
Later we met Thomas for lunch at the National Gallery of Art (west) cafe, then he took us to the Capitol Bldg where his intern Harry took us on a tour. Very cool, very informative and very exhausting. Perfect day here.
