Really worked at keeping this easy pace/effort. Stopped after 2 miles to figure out what I was doing wrong, why do my legs feel so tired? Decided to try a shorter stride, figuring I'd been over-striding. Well, that seemed to make it much better! Was able to run all the way back (from 3.8 to 7.2) without stopping once. Yay for that. Got out at a good time as there are thunderstorms and gusty winds forecast for later today.
