Not sure why that first mile was so slow, but it did measure "long" so maybe that's it. Sometimes I think these shoes feel "slow" but maybe it's just my legs when I wear them (or I wear them when I'm heavy-legged?). Got out earlier than planned because it looks like big dark rain clouds moving in. Was fine though, overheated a bit in long-sleeved shirt and shorts.
