Walked a bit in that third mile, kept coming up on some guy I couldn't get around so walked a bit on the uphills till I could pass him. Then zoomed to the finish with a sub-8 that last .1 mile. :) Rain last night so the course was muddy but not too bad, just slipped a little in the Kinvaras. But hey, they got the distance right this year! It was about a perfect 5k, so that's good. And my pace was exactly the same as last year at 8:41, but this year was 13th for women vs. 10th last year. Oh well, more high school kids in this race.
