Perfect conditions for a run! Legs felt a little tired from the start and it felt like I did a LOT of walking. But, my time overall was better than last year (in slick, muddy conditions), so that's good. Kept reminding myself it was ok to walk but don't stop too much! Good with just over 9 minutes of stop time, mostly for drinks. Peter met me at several places, he's so good about that! Spent a lot of time taking care of me. :)

Interesting to look at mile 2, almost a minute faster than last year, not sure why. I did stop a couple times, once to take off my shoe and get stuff out of it. Otherwise tried to keep on going forward.

This training stuff works! Two weeks ago after the first 20 miler I was totally depleted and sore for days afterward. After this run, I was definitely tired but ok, and the next day (typing this on Monday) I'm just a little stiff and sore, but not bad; nothing like two weeks ago!
