Slow and sore... left leg (lower shin and knee) hurt from the start. Knee felt better by mile 3 but shin was a constant issue. I'm not sure what happened, maybe bruised yesterday cutting trees/brush? By end of day, it looks bruised, red and swollen. Drat. Slowest trip up Ester Dome I can ever recall, and had no legs for the downhill parts. Called Peter on Henderson Rd to ask for pick up at Gold Hill by the powerline. Missed my 20 mile goal, but got a good workout on the actual course and I think that's worth a lot. We'll see, I guess.
