Notes
Chilly at the start but warmed up with those hills in the first 4 miles! Took off my gloves by mile 2.5 and carried them till I saw Peter at about mile 5, then he took the liners and I ran with the lightweight fleece. Some frost on Ester Dome Rd made the first half mile or so pretty slick, took my time. Kept a pretty good pace going up St. Patrick's with some walking after mile 3, but then zip zip zip down Henderson! We went on Goldhill after that so mile 6 included that uphill, and a Gu and some Nuun. Peter was great support as usual.
Legs faded a bit in last 3 miles but managed to hang in there with pretty good pacing, had to wait for cars at a couple of road crossings. Overall a good race and I'd do it again, but it would not be anywhere near as good in rain or snow. Nice beer glass at the finish!
