Very happy with this result. The only "not so good" mile was 7 when I fumbled with the Gu and had to have a volunteer open it for me. That took too long. Sometimes I wonder if they even help. Maybe just an unnecessary delay? Who knows, I had some pretty good strong miles in last half, even though getting tired. Erika Burr started late and passed me in mile 10. She has quite the strong pace! Up to then I was 3rd overall so that was very cool! Still, I think 4th is the highest I've ever placed in a big race like this. Dorli and Mishelle Nace weren't there today, it would've been a different race if they were.
There were some problems with the bib numbers and unassociated runners, so they couldn't do age group or overall awards except to the first place finishers, so the placings above may change when it's all done.
