I'm saying 5° but I'm sure there were places where it was closer to zero or below. Stinging cold back on Birch Lane and those roads (Loftus/Birch/Teal/Ramola and back) where I did my first 8 miles (including two laps of Wood River and Geist from Loftus to Parks). Stopped at Peter's office and grabbed my balaclava which made a big difference, but sometimes felt like I couldn't breathe. Quite a few stops in last couple miles as I completely ran out of gas. Oh well, glad I didn't insist on trying for my 20 miler today; I wouldn't have made it! So I'll do 20 next weekend, when it'll be even colder. Gives me a week to figure out how to do it.
