Holy Crap this was hard! They got so much snow they re-routed the course to be an out-and-back starting from the finish. The buses couldn't take us to the original start, so we had to drive ourselves to the "finish" to start the race. What a mess. I think a lot of people started late because they just couldn't get there in time.
Snow, slush, mud and too much single-track trail with no way to pass. This was a very frustrating race. I think my time was at least 20-30 minutes slower than it would've been without this mess. Oh well, it's done and I'm glad for that.
Garmin was off, couldn't keep track with all the elevation changes and switchbacks. They assured us we turned around at the half, so the distance was correct.
