Not sure why the paces today were so much faster. The path was plowed to the farm, but not very well. Left a layer of loose snow with some heaps and piles that made things a challenge at times. The rest of the path was a narrow packed down strip down the middle of the path, maybe a foot wide that was actually packed down pretty well and made for some good footing. Wind from the ENE made for a cold last mile but other than that it was nice out. Very sunny!
