OK, I need to figure out my watch and not be afraid to touch it. This was a 10x20 worout where I attempted to run 10 mins at a 9:30-ish pace follwed by 20 mins of 8:30-ish pace (marathon race pace). But because all of my splits are by mile in stead of time, my paces kinda bled into one another (not that my pace wasn't all over the place any way). But I felt great. No shin splint pain at all. Small knot in the back of my right calf muscle maybe 3 miles in and again at 7 or 8 miles, and a small tweak in my right ankle, but no significant pain. Tried to keep my foot cadence equal on all paced (approx 84/86 per min), and suprisingly small difference in perceived effort between 9:30 and 8:30 pace once I'm in the groove.
