Rolling hills. I was watching a guy in my club / AG (Tim) who was ahead of me most of the race. With about 1 mile to go he had pulled to maybe 100 yds ahead. I slowly reeled him in and was able to pass him in the last hundred yards -- beat him by 4 seconds. I actually think it is easier when coming from behind because you pass all of a sudden and it is hard for the front-runner to recover.
1st was only 16 seconds ahead of me but I don't think I could have caught him had I known. At least I'd have had to make my move earlier and don't know if I could have lasted that long at that pace.
