good run and effort today. Started off with a weird stomach issue but after 3 miles i felt good.Than i had my worst nightmare...less than a quarter mile apart both shoes came untied...i was pissed...that was probably that 6:17... Took a Gu before the race started than at 8 miles as well..the only aid station i didn't like was the one at Marshall Point light, cause i didn't know where the turn was until i had already turned around...wasted probably 20-30 seconds between those two dumb shit mistakes.
felt pretty good through the whole thing. wind at my back for the first 6 miles than after 8 miles the wind was in your face..not a whole lot of rain..Hurricane Irene really didn't hit us until later in the afternoon and into the night.
