cool and windy run. No rain luckily as they had predicted..very nice for a long run today. Left calf was tight for 4 or so miles than loosened up enough for me to hit the gas. Took it easy out of the gate and just relaxed. From miles 2-5 i didn't look at my watch. I like springy pond rd because there is very anyone on it and it's right on the lake. I only wish it was a bit hillier, but i can always go on roads for that.
Took the hydration belt even though i knew i wouldn't need it. Wanted to practice drinking water and eating something. Took 2 sportbeans at 6 miles and sips of water at 5, 6, 8, and 11. Roughly 16oz of water. came back and downed 16oz of powerbar recovery protein drink.
