Haven't done that in a while. Been since August since I race and longer than than since a 5k. Ages ago. Pleased I could sustain the effort. First half mile was the big hill. Stuck with the lead group but quickly faded back after the mile mark and lost them for good after 1.5. by mile 2 I was starting to struggle and fade a tad. Got caught with a half mile to go. That's ok. Good motivation to hunt him down on the long downhill. Finished just a second behind him
