From the house to the pavement (1.5mi) was sheet ice. Without the screws in the new shoes !! =( I wouldn't have bee able to stand up straight. Pavement was pretty clear for the most part. Checked out Arrowhead development. Some new roads. Icy down there as well. Only met two other dogs. One put his paws on the fence and the fence bent down the dog leaped after us. Luckily it didn't seem too interested after it got a sniff in of Meeka. Knee started to hurt about at 10 miles. I think it was from slipping around on the black ice when i didn't have good grip.
