Notes
pretty good race considering i ran yesterday also.
So the breakdown
first mile i led, then this guy in green passes me, later found out he was Ed Parrot who got second yesterday. From there on out the hill got to me pretty good, but i hung on. I went through 5k in about 19:15 ish. Felt suprisinly tired though and i just kept on pushing. Ingram's hill which was mile 4 was pretty bad, but i could chase some walkers up that hill, which helped immensely. Through town wasn't bad, the wind started to pick up here though. I was by myself totally at this point in the race. Ed and fully pulled away from me for good. As i went through mile 7, i could see him in the distance and i knew that i couldn't catch him, i didn't give up though because i did was to PR on the course, which i did. Made me really happy at the end.
considering i didn't or haven't done much of any long runs lately this went really well. I went through the 10k in about 38:xx, so this is looking really good for lobster festival if i run it, which i think is the plan.
