Notes

Temp of 61, DP 48;. 7 hill reps at Iwo Jima. I didn't realize that I had set my garmin to autolap by position, so ended up with splits for each rep. Pretty cool to see that I dialed the pace down slightly on each.

Legs felt a bit weaker than normal, and breathing was tough on first rep, good for most, and then bad for end, when I pushed too hard (had to use inhaler after final up hill). I'm thinking there's something in the air that's giving me an allergic reaction, as I was also really congested.

Was better about keeping recovery jogs VERY slow and uphills under control, though I still need to work on that some. Pretty happy with this workout, though.

Used inhaler once at 5:30 am, once at 6:25, and then once more after last hill rep.

HR monitor glitchy at times due to gel bumping up against it.

Followed up with strengthwork at gym, including squats (2x8 at 115, 145) and single leg deadlifts (4x5 at 35)
