Temp 77, DP 74 (according to Weather Underground - George's phone said something different); wind of 8 MPH from south; pollen of 8.7

Did 1600, 5x800, working with/trailing Laurel, Juan, Thomas, Alex, Lindsey, Tony, Barret, Carolyn, Jillian, Jenn. Splits were 6:03, 2:59, 2:58, 2:56, 2:56, 2:49. Recovery was 4:56 after the 1600, 2:3x-4x after most of the 800s, and 3:18 between the 4th and 5th.

Tried to keep these controlled and aerobic, only really working hard on the last. The first four 800s felt like each could have been stretched to a 1200 or mile, which is what I wanted.

I'm not happy with the longer recoveries - we were actually keeping the recoveries under control but then kept getting held at the line so that we could group up. The last recovery was pretty long because we briefly discussed whether to do a 5th 800. I'm not too upset about that one - getting a bit extra rest let me work a bit on turnover with the last 800 (split 86/83)

Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, smores and lemon Gus, and berry stroopwafel. Sat OK - I think rice undercooked.

Breathing was good - Advair 250/50, Qvar, and 1 puff of rescue 10 minutes befor start.
