Start at temp 58, dp 55, end at temp 64, dp 58.

Split as 8:34 for first 7 miles, 7:42 for next 5.5, 7:03 for next 8, and then jog last mile (post break). Ran up to Pierce Mill with Kristen, Jessica, Nora, and Sharon (plus Mary for first part), then back to Fletchers, and then out to mile marker 7 and back on towpath, which was a bit muddy and slow.

Good run. And a good lesson learned. Though I carried a handheld, I didn't drink enough during the first part of the run (handheld was pretty much full when I hit Georgetown), and not enough water plus three gels ended up stopping my MP run a mile early. Felt great for about 6 miles, then all the sudden I was thirsty as hell and my stomach cramped. In retrospect HR looks pretty jacked, which indicates that I was pretty dehydrated.

I debated toughing it out to the finish, but decided that 20 miles with the last 8 at MP was good enough, so stopped for a bathroom break and jogged it in. No reason to dig myself in a hole.

REALLY good lesson to learn now, rather than on marathon day.

Other than the back end (har har) issues, I felt good. Very tired, though, and ready for taper.
