Temp 32, DP 23.

Parked in Georgetown and ran out to Hains Point. After doing some drills/strides, did 3xmile at "hard aerobic" effort - somewhere between 10M and 10K effort, with 2 minute recovery. Ended up splitting 6:30, 6:23, 6:14. Did four hill reps up 33rd Street after.

Hard running was hard, just because it felt strange and different. I didn't really hammer these, and so the hardness wasn't from the effort, but more from the fact that I'm not used to the effort. It's always a strange feeling when first coming back from a break. As stiff and awkward as fast running feels right now, I'm glad I didn't take a longer break - 3-ish weeks without hard running is about as long as I can get away with.

Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, tri-berry and smores GUs - sat well.

Breathing was Advair 250/50 - felt tight.
