Iwo Jima

Notes

Temp 67, DP 65. Ran from gym to Towpath, where I did 10 minutes of drills and strides. Then over to Iwo Jima for 6 hill repeats. I ran these more under control than last week, and so they were a lot better. Still a workout, I just didn't push it into painful/counterproductive race effort.

Then one more cool-down repeat around Iwo Jima, and home via Rock Creek to Cap Crescent to M St to gym. Felt very sluggish before start, but better as workout went on. Debated a 7th repeat, but wanted to play it safe. Worked with a big group, including Jessica M, Patricia, Kelsey, Chris M, Chris C, and Dan.

Two puffs of inhaler at 5:30, two more right before workout.

Followed with injury prevention work at gym, including squats (2x8 at 115, 135, 1x4 at 155), good mornings (2x10 at 105), and single leg deadlifts (4x5 at 35)
