Temp 46, dp 40 -- weather doesn't get better. Still felt like I was struggling a bit to breathe, even though air was not terribly dry. Maybe just in my head?
Workout was 1600m, then 4x800m, plus I added 4x200m with full recovery at end (focusing on form, rather than speed). Splits were 5:55, 2:52, 2:52, 2:51, 2:51, and then 38, 38, 39, 38.
Felt like I was working much harder than I would like, but used as a chance to stay relaxed. Legs lacking a bit of pop. Felt a bit woozy for first repeats also -- I think I ate too much sugary stuff for breakfast and screwed up blood sugar.
Bad side stitches -- first one side, and then the other, after the 800s.
Used inhaler for 4 puffs at 5:50, then another puff right before workout (using up inhaler in process).
Followed up with injury prevention work at gym, including squats (2x8 at 115, 135, 1x6 at 150), good mornings (2x10 at 115) and single leg deadlifts (4x5 at 25).
