Temp of 41 -- really perfect conditions.

Felt lousy on warm-up, stomach *really* iffy. Also some dizziness that was pretty clearly due to blood sugar issues from trying to keep my diet simple and lower in protein and fat to settle my stomach -- once I got actually going, the dizziness was gone.

Workout went well, though. Kept it very restrained and under control, never straining (I was much better about keeping a relaxed mental attitude). Workout was 6-10x800m (400m recovery) -- I shot for 8 and did 3:06, 2:58, 2:58, 2:54, 2:54, 2:54, 2:53, 2:49. I had one or two more in me aerobically, but called it at 8 (which was where coach wanted the half-marathoners anyway) -- it's a huge jump from 3 miles of intervals one week to 5 miles the next, so keeping it to 8 was safer. Legs were getting a bit tired during the 8th rep.

Followed up with injury prevention work at gym, including squats (4x8 at 105, 115, 135, 145, and 1x6 at 150) plus good mornings (3x10 at 100).

Two shots of inhaler, plus significant dosage of Pepto. Failed to wear body glide - massive ouch.
