Temp 58, DP 56. Workout was 3200 tempo, then 4x800. Tried to keep this one somewhat restrained, both because I'm trying to back off of my workouts and because GI system was fairly uncomfortable this morning. Ran 12:39 for 3200, and then the 800s in 2:53, 2:53, 2:52, 2:48.

Amusing - I started out the tempo very conservative - 3:20 for first 800 - to stay with group. Then George told me to pick it up, so I basically held 6:10 for the rest of the tempo. Then was told to back off (which is what I should be doing anyway). So slowed up and kept the rest of the 800s mellow. Stomach felt better by end

Decent workout. Followed up with injury prevention work at Golds, including squats (3x4 ass to grass at 75, 95, 100 and 3x6 at 135, 155, 165), good mornings (2x8 at 85, 100) and single leg deadlifts (4x5 at 35).
