Notes
Great weather! Temp and DP of 61. Kept this one under control, with the goal of running 5-6 repeats -- I wanted this to be a strength workout, rather than a speed workout. Splits were 6:28, 6:22, 6:18, 6:18, 6:16.
I'm decently happy with this. I definitely didn't go to the well on this one, but that's not the point of this workout. I do wish I could have done another rep, or at least a set of 800s, as I definitely had it in me. However, coach was shutting a lot of people down after 4, and I had to negotiate a little just to get 5, so I knew 6 wasn't happening.
Big focus for today was running relaxed and not straining. Bonus for not getting in anyone's way during the workout!
I got a bad side stitch again on the right side after the 5th rep anyway, so 6 might not have happened.
Followed with injury prevention work, including squats - 3x8 at 105, 115, 125.
