Temp 24, DP 15, wind of 9 mph from north. Did 2x800, 1600, 2x800, 2x200, working with/trailing Jake, Wes, and Maddie (larger group for the first, including David K. and Sarah, but we got separated after that, since I wanted to keep the recoveries prompt (after the 800s, they were all under 2:30; ~4:45 recovery after the 1600)
Splits were 3:06, 3:02, 6:09, 3:00, 2:52, and then 41 and 40. I kept these very under control until the last 800, where I pushed it a bit. I did stiffen up a bit on the last 800 at the end, so I did 2x200m after, not all out, but just to reinforce good relaxed form.
Stomach/GI was very good (finally) - breakfast was rice, hemp powder, and smores and berry GUs
Breathing was Advair 250/50. Felt slightly tight during the warm-up, so puffed on the inhaler pre-workout to be careful. Breathing very good for workout.
Wore thick tights and light CAR jacket - felt perfectly dressed.
