Starting temp 36, DP 36; ending temp 37, DP 29. Very windy by end. Started at 9.5 with gusts to 12.5; ended at 30 mph with gusts to 45. Sleet at times.
Did the 4/3/2/1 running mostly clockwise on Hains Point from the Golf Course
4 miles - 29:59 (7:40/7:25/7:38/7:16) - 7:30 pace (1 mile float in 8:09)
3 miles - 22:24 (7:33/7:34/7:17) - 7:28 pace (1 mile float in 8:22)
2 miles - 14:53 (7:32/7:21) - 7:27 pace (1 mile float in 8:35)
1 mile - 7:24
1:14:39 for the 10 miles total (7:28 pace)
1:38:45 for the 13 miles total (7:40 pace)
Wore heavy longsleeve and tights, and was mostly comfortable (hands got a bit cold because my water bottle soaked one glove/mitten.)
L/R balance was 50/50 - wore big toe spacers.
Breakfast was rice, cereal, UCan and Maurten gels, and a bit of a bagel. Carried a gel but didn't take it during run. No water either.
Vaporflies felt great at marathon effort. Did get loose at the end.
