Notes

Temp 67, DP 66, pollen of 6.4 (huh?) wind of 9 MPH from south.

Did a 4 mile tempo on the track in 25:18, split as 6:29/6:20/6:20/6:09. Trailed Jake for the first 2, leading pack of Carolyn, David K, Juan, Eric, Sarah W, Damien, Maddie, and some others. Jake, Juan, and David stopped at 3200, and the others stopped at 5K, but then David jumped in for the last mile, so I had some company for most of it.

Felt very good - shockingly good, given the weather and the pollen (which I think was pretty high despite the low pollen value on pollen.com). 95 second laps felt very comfortable, though I did have to work the last mile when I picked up the pace.

I think I'm peaking, so I need to take care now to not get greedy so I can stretch this out through June.

Did a longer warm-up with 6 strides; that may be why I felt so good also. Based on this week, I really need to get that full warm-up in.

Breathing was very good - Advair 250/50 and Qvar, plus 2 puffs of rescue 10 minutes before because of pollen.

Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, smores and lemonade GUs, and berry stroopwafel, sat well.
