Raw data dump for Hartford Marathon. Breakfast was hemp powder, rice, Caramel Machiato GU, and berry stroopwafel. Weather started high 50s, ended mid-60s. Overcast. Some wind. Very humid.
8 gels on course - most were very salty, including 3 lemonade, 1 expresso, 2 salted caramel, a bluberry Roctane, and a strawberry Banana. Also tons of water - ran with handheld and refilled it 3 times on course. Chipotle for lunch day before; coconut water and ucan for dinner.
Energy levels very good. Never bonked, though legs crapped out on me after mile 25 (yay for downhill finish). Breathing good with 1 puff each of Advair 250/50 and Qvar 80, plus rescue inhaler before. On antihistamines (Clarinex).
