Temp of 31 at start (34 at finish). A bit of a head wind up the hill (that is mysteriously unreported by Weather Underground.
6 Repeats up Iwo Jima - pace overall averaged 7:16. Ended up running solo after first rep - George said I was running my recoveries too fast, so slowed up on 5th.
Did cool down loop by running across Memorial bridge, then up Rock Creek to M St, and back across Key bridge to Iwo Jima (to Netherlands Carillion). 4.5 mile cool down, which was just about perfect.
Pepto plus 3 puffs of inhaler before workout. Felt good.
Followed with injury prevention work, including squats (4x8 at 105, 125, 135, 140) and good mornings (2x10 at 95)
