Temp 34, DP 19. Wind from SW at 10 mph.
Did 8 Iwo Jima hills, stopping at one-way sign on way up and manhole cover on way down. Odd hill repeats were focused on knee lift; even hill repeats were focused on stride extension.
Total time for 8 loops - 45:07 Had to stop and repeat last (8th) stride to avoid car that was being oblivious to pedestrians).
Gait felt very good post-run.
L/R balance of 49/51.
Breakfast was rice, cereal, chocolate and razz clif gels, and dark chocolate - sat well.
1 capsule Rytary at 4:45 am
Breathing was Advair 250/50 and Qvar. Needed two puffs of rescue before workout (dry air).
Wore heavy longsleeve and tights - well dressed for conditions.
