Second half of the Brick for today. Noodle-leg phenomenon still strong in the first half-mile. I was actually surprised at how quickly it disappeared. Fatigue and muscle soreness quickly overcame the noodle feeling. ;) It wasn't so bad after the first mile was done. I had to back off quite a bit in order to keep my HR in check, but that is mostly because of the last couple weeks being a little on the soft side for workouts. At the second mile point I thought that I was going to have to force myself to finish up the 3 planned miles, but by the end of the third mile I felt like I could have gone on and done more. In time, but for now this makes me pretty happy that I was able to do this after not having done it in about three weeks. Good run. Good brick.
