200 EASY

A quick pool session, because I won't be able to get any open-water swimming in this week. Today I was working on just getting in some decent effort swims, maintaining consistency and giving myself a good amount of rest. I know that right now for my triathlon training my swim needs very little work, but I think that it deserves a bit more than what I am giving it right now. I also know that this is supposed to be a taper week, so there is a catch-22 going on here. Although I'm supposed to be tapering, this week was a bit more than that because I had a hard time getting a good night's sleep and getting up to work out. So, I gave a good effort today. I hope that the trend of my swims being 'refreshing' continues, because I want to still do well on Sunday.

Sleep: decent (bed at 12:00am, wake at 6:30)

Mood: good

Physical: no complaints
