A split between a hard and an easy run today. Sort of a graceful segway from an off week of workouts to a race tomorrow. I did the first mile easy, just trying to relax and put an nice easy stride into the run. The second mile I stepped it up a little, but still tried to go fairly easy. The third mile I did two minutes easy, a minute of sprint, then two minutes easy, another minute of sprint, a minute of recovery and then sprint the rest of the way. Three hard efforts, with space to recover in between. I wanted to work a little bit, not too much, but get some fast running in to prepare for the Fingerlakes Triathlon tomorrow. A good run.
