An easy run today. I just wanted the miles. I was able to keep my HR down for just about the whole route. I did ping-pong a little bit in the middle when trying to adjust my pace to keep the HR in check, but it wasn't too bad. I'm getting to the point where I need to run a lot faster than I think I should be in order to get the HR I want. This run was an EASY run and my pace was still 8:48 average. That is quite quick for that HR. This makes me happy, but I need to ensure that I can keep that up for something like a 1/2 marathon, especially after getting off the bike. At the end, as usual, the last mile I pushed a little more, just because. No problem. A good run.
Sleep: yuck (bed at 11:30am, awake at about 5:30am)
