EAST AURORA RE-RUN.
Today was the first race of the season, for me. I have had a very bad year for training, so I knew before I started that today's race was going to be poor. I started off running pretty quick. I felt good, then quickly got hot and started to feel tired. The first mile was fast, the rest was just to hang in there. It wasn't all bad, just not good. It was a lot of fun though, since Molly, Mark, Claire, Peter, Sally, Oma and Opa were all there with me. Mark took off and I lost him within the first 1/4 mile. Peter Victor was right next to me for probably 1/2 mile, then toasted me and I lost sight of him around the mile mark. Apparently Molly was pretty much right behind me the whole time and could see me the whole way. Not a good race for time, but a lot of fun.
