This race did not equal the training I completed. I should have been able to pull a sub 21 minute, but I think I was held back by my excess weight. I am ready to lose weight now because if I can run the marathon at least five pounds lighter (ideally 10), then I will be maxing out my true potential. Still, this is the best run I've had since high school, so that's a plus. Am ready for marathon training now, and pretty excited about it too.
