So, the tempo run got done at the gym and was harder than the pace usually would be. Obviously, my quads are still shredded from the Half.
However, I knew I wanted to get 8 miles in, so on the way home from the gym, had my brother kick me out of the car about 3 miles away from home and I ran the rest "easy," but there was a wind blowing against me the entire way and the wind chill.
Taylor Swift's "Style" came on the last mile, and that saved me. :-) Even if that's slightly dorky and cliche.
