Part of me missed running in California, but at the same time... do I really enjoy running these hills? I ran this pretty big reservoir a few times around, while my uncle walked it (since he took me to the place) and every time I felt comfortable with my pace, or mostly the incline of the route. it usually would get worst. like one time, I was just running along the reservoir, just having a good time, putting all of these hills in the past, and just trying to make the best of my run. UNTIL I notice a bit of an incline, this wasn't just any incline, because once I looked up to see what I was dealing with I almost died from shock. The thing was almost a wall in itself. There was NO way that I was going to be able to run it, but maybe I could muster my self to walk it, or climb it? I just needed to find some way of getting past this obstacle. I thought if I just had really long teeth in my spikes, I could try running up it, but sadly I didn't prepare for this inconceivable hill. I later got up this hill and even passed my uncle, but the lesson for the day is... flatlanders are < than hills that look like they've taken steroids.
