Definitely took it very easy today. My mind wasn't quite in a training mode today and I wanted to be a bit more cautious due to some pain in my left foot on the third and fourth toes. Most likely a stress reaction from doing more and more forefoot striking but something that I think will abate with time. For now I'm scaling back my intensity but not my distance on the runs till the pain subsides. Hopefully a day off from running tomorrow and a easy 4 miler on Saturday will let my foot rest in time for the 14 mile run on Sunday.
