Evening run with Chris. Anya stayed home, so I felt a little off without having her at the end of a leash. Kind of a ho hum run. It felt great to be running in warmer temperatures. The first mile or so was pretty slow because the footing was slushy & snowy & slippery & crappy. Once we got onto a clean road, it was decent though. My lower legs felt really tight tonight. I just felt like I was taking baby steps tonight & just couldn't "stretch" my legs out & find my groove. Things felt tight & inflexible & uncomfortable & after, my posterior shins are a little pissy. But I didn't feel, once the first mile or so was done, like I worked that hard at the run. Tomorrow will be better. It did feel good to get out & run though & any day running is better than a day without.
