Notes
Easy morning run on what is becoming something of a staple 10 mile out and back. Kept it easy, listened to a Sam Harris interview with David Krakaeur on "Complexity & Stupidity"... pretty interesting, a little dry maybe. Biggest takeaway I can remember right now is about the plasticity of the brain (echoes of "Talent is Overrated"). Watch did the same thing stupid thing it did yesterday morning, where my HR data was much higher than it should have been for the first ~1 mile, then dropped down to believable values for the rest of the run. I went HAM on the way up Quarry in an effort to discover my HRMax, it got as high as 192 but at that point I stopped because my legs were too fatigued... at some point I will get some HR data from a race and hopefully discover a true max but based on this I would guess that it's >= 195bpm.
