2019 Bridge of Flowers 8k (USATF GP). 47th o/a, 5th for GBTC, we were 6th and not particularly close to 5th or 7th.
Definitely not ideal prep for this, long drive in the morning and not much warmup... the course was as ridiculous as it was billed to me. Pretty o.k. with how this went, stayed relaxed the first two miles and was in the right spot, went probably a little too easy on the stupid hard uphill (got passed by 7 people), went HAM on the last two miles but honestly should have gone even harder, it was really all downhill the entire way. Passed maybe 5 people back. Not sure what to takeaway from the time.
