Run with Shaun, Manny, Lo. Plan was to do 2x4mi tempo starting at roughly mile 11 for me. Wasn’t sure exactly how fast I wanted to go, started a little too quick for sure but then overall the effort was too high for 4 miles at that pace. Started the 2nd, felt crappy, had to stop at the porta potty, tried to run fast again and got all sorts of weird stitches, decided it wasn’t my day and jogged from there. Ran until mile 21 and then walked it in!

I’ve had some good races in the not so distant past, so I know I’m in better shape than this! Nothing wrong with my training, there’s just two things I need to do better:

1. SAM - haven’t done SAM since CPC and I really think it’s made a difference, my legs etc really don’t feel great

2. Sleep - now that class has started I need to be proactive about managing time and getting sleep... will track how much I get, would like to shoot for 7-8 hours avg

Maybe just underestimated the long warmup into the workout.

May as well add (3) iron supplementation, you never know...
