SPAC 2018!
Low expectations for this but hoping to break 28 for sure. Tried to go out smart and conservative, just chilled for 800m then started moving up. 5:41 at 1 mile, a little over 11 at 2 mi. Moving up through the field until the second pool hill, legs really heavy and gassed and lost my mojo there. Mostly in survival mode the rest of the way with short stretches of working and moving up. Slowwww the last mile and fast final stretch.
Meh, okay race. Doesn’t really move the needle for me on how fit I feel. Need more racing prior if I want to be able to run well at SPAC
