Fun LR with PAUL, conquered the Cooper River Bridge two more times! Quads are pretty rekt today, also my feet keep hurting whenever I run in these Zantes which is a pain. Ran around the Charleston battery which was very cool and very crowded. We CRUSHED IT up the bridge on the way back, then enjoyed a nice bridge milkshake. Quads still rekt.

PRERUN: lunge matrix

Week 6, cut back volume quite a bit due to travel, running Paul's schedule and preparing for the race. Solid workout Tuesday, pretty good long run today, yesterday obviously a hard effort but definitely a BUST from a racing perspective. Would like to get in some more hurdling in the next two weeks in preparation for the steeplechase, hopefully the weather will cooperate. Want to get my miles right back up to where they've been the past two weeks, although we'll see how quickly my legs come back around - running down the backside of the bridge really seems to have beaten them up. Lots of good track racing opportunities over the next 2-3 months, hopefully can run some decent times while maintaining solid training throughout.
