Ran to GBTC practice from the office and met up with Shaun towards the end of the normal warmup. We ran from there to the Charles, planned on doing 6x5' on 1:30 off, figured we would do a "tempo" effort for the 5' stints. It was super hot (90 degrees, feels like 100?) and my legs were still pretty sore from Saturday, so it wasn't really a given that I wanted to workout tonight... but decided to go for it out of solidarity. Figured that Shaun would blast off on me, but I guess he found this tough too. We ran fairly slow, but the effort was there - averaged around 6' pace but the heat was bad mann. Sweat a lot, head was burning by the end. Aerobically felt well enough but quads were very fatigued, pretty high effort workout. Decided on #5 that that would be my last one, started #6 but jogged it in after a minute.
