Notes

First run in a while. Wasn't planning on running today, but talked to Ryan and Paul at the banquet and found out that they had just run 5 miles in 35 minutes. Pony also said that he had been running, and that Jared Stack had been running all week as well. Didn't want to fall behind, so decided to run on my own. Did a loop where I went down Pleasant St. and right onto Elm, then did a Taylor-Congress-Keene-Temple-loop, and back up Elm, stopping at Pleasant. Felt good for pretty much the entire run. Was trying to go a little faster than normal, but wasn't sure if I was for a long time. Focused on breathing for a lot of the time-in through the nose, out through the mouth. Got into a three step rhythm. Opened up a bit over the last mile and started to hurt a bit. My legs felt fresh and fine, if there was any struggle it was more of a respiratory one. Wished I hadn't run right after the banquet-felt like I was going to throw up at points. Also got a headache, possibly due to dehydration-feel like I didn't drink enough water today. Then again, I wasn't planning on running. First Captain's Practice with Ryan and Paul is on Tuesday. Those will probably be easier runs than the one today was, which is fine. It was nice to have a solo run where I could kind of push myself. As a side note, I have been successfully losing weight since my last run. I'll need to decide soon where I want to level out.
